Mothers day and we had a ride out, there was 800 plus bikes going on the ride for heroes 2011, we went to whitby via a lot of backroads and a bit of hail stone here and there...a good day out tho.

First ride out of the Year 2011

Today i took my bike for the first ride out since November 2010... It was only to get a bit of petrol and check her over.

As you can see I took the bike out with parts of body work missing, I plan to do a bit of a service on it next week, oil filters pllugs and a good check over.

The tractor comes back to life !!!

Today I started my bmw r1100s and after 15 minutes of tinkering and a newbattery,change of plugs and she fired up, it was nice to hear the sound of the flat twin after what seems a really long time.
next job is to get tappets adjusted and thats really it ready to roll for spring.
pic below of some fizzies and a suzuki ap50... boy do i remember them days, head down and biggest hill i could find, got 60 mph at one point...

Well the car passed its mot and wheel bearings getting done weds, all good one thing less to worry about.
